About the PIANO GLOBAL VFdmK e. V. Summer Piano Academy

The Summer Piano Academy, promoted by Verein zur Förderung des mehrhändigen Klavierspiels e. V. (English: Association for the Promotion of Piano Ensemble Playing), is part of the "International Piano Academy Project" that aims to systematically develop pianist's musical skills.

The faculty consists of internationally recognised concert pianists and pedagogues.

A variety of courses offer training for solo repertoire as well as chamber music.

Courses for piano ensembles serve the development of communication and interaction in music making, and help promote the extensive and frequently underestimated repertoire for 4, 6, 8 or more hands on one or more pianos.

Meeting the increasing demand of amateurs and returners to the piano, many of our classes are open to participants of any age and level.

Participants may register for several parallel courses with one or several teachers and lectures and concerts are open to all participants.
